Where the two sides meet
For the past 14 years, I’ve led quality across organisations and industries, including The Economist and Reapit. That work has taught me to question assumptions, look for evidence and understand how software behaves when real people rely on it. Those habits still shape how I build products and lead teams.
My experience spans quality strategy, test automation, distributed teams and improving how organisations deliver software. At The Economist and as Head of QA for the UK and EMEA at Reapit, I helped teams strengthen their testing and release practices. As Head of Customer Trust at Smartcat, I’ve extended that work into AI workflows, checking whether agents actually achieve the intended outcome. The question running through it all is simple: can customers rely on what we ship?
Alongside those roles, I’ve developed the creative and commercial side of my work by building businesses and products of my own. I’m developing YoMaxi, a life-organisation app, bringing together the product concept, brand, user experience and implementation. I co-founded Deal Wizard, an AI product venture, and I run City Dreams, a property management business where I’ve worked across branding, booking systems, operations and the guest experience.
Building my own ventures means making the decisions I help other teams make: what to prioritise, where to invest time and when something is ready to launch. It brings my experience in engineering and leadership together with the practical work of creating something people want to use.
